These actions are neither impulsive nor a signal of undue aggression, but a calculated move aimed at undermining the destabilizing force of ISIS. They reflect our unwavering commitment to the security and well-being of our great nation and its people.
Our involvement in the region demonstrates our resolve to shoulder our responsibilities as a global leader. We are steadfast in our pursuit of world peace, stability and justice. Simultaneously, we remain open to diplomatic discussions, always striving to balance the scales between diplomacy and necessary force.
This then is our Square Deal for the Digital Age: a fair, just, and responsive approach in a world teeming with complexities. We will continue to prioritize the security of American citizens and employ targeted and specific actions to undermine any threats to our nation.
